Northern Love

I explore the delicate nuances of love's evolution through a series of 13 digital art pieces. Each artwork tells a chapter in the story of two characters, capturing the spectrum of emotions from infatuation and heartbreak to forgiveness. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ethiopia's northern highlands, I merge the Ethiopian Orthodox Church iconography with a modern, symmetric aesthetic. This blend not only honors the rich cultural heritage of Ethiopia but also breathes new life into an ancient art form, creating a visual narrative that is both timeless and contemporary.

 This series is more than just a love story; it is a reflection of the complexities and beauty that define Ethiopian culture and identity. In a time when Ethiopia faces challenges such as civil unrest, ethnic tensions, and political divisions, this project is a vessel for unity and understanding.
